General:
-------
AoSaai are small to middle-sized, dragon-like creatures with very extreme body features such as large chins and ears, long tails, claws, and tounges, and an abundance of stiff mohawk-like fur covering the majority of thier bodies. Most AoSaai average around 6 to 8 feet high from the ground up to thier heads, and can be anywhere from 15 to 19 feet in length. They come in many different shapes, styles, colours and sizes- depending on the sub-species and the individual itself.

Another unique trait of the AoSaai species is it's ability to shape-shift between it's natural, quadropedal, or 'dragon-form' and it's very human-like bi-pedal form. Though this is thier most impressive feat, they also have a load of other distinct and impressive abilities throught the species and various sub-species, so if this sounds interesting to you, keep reading the information below to learn more!

Basic Information:
-------
Names:
Males are called Bucks
Females are called Does
Offspring are called Kids

Averages:
Average Male height(Quad): 7.5-8 ft.
Average Male height(Bi-ped): 6.1-7 ft.
Average Male length: 15-19 ft.
Average Male weight(Quad): 500-700 lbs.
Average Male weight(Bi-ped): 180-300 lbs.

Average Female height(Quad):5.7-7.5 ft.
Average Female height(Bi-ped): 5.7-6.8 ft.
Average Female length: 15-18.3 ft.
Average Female weight(Quad): 400-670 lbs.
Average Female weight(Bi-ped): 168-240 lbs.

Average Lifespans:
Average Male Lifespan: 0-121 years
Average Female Lifespan: 0-117 years

Lifespan:
Age 0-2: Hatchling- Born completely white, or grey if the base colour is black. They are blind and deaf, have no fur, and are completely helpless.

Age 3-5: Kids(1)- Stage of developing hearing, eyesight and fur. They can now walk and make some sounds by immitation. They also learn to walk in this stage.

Age 5-12: Kids- Fur has fully developed, as well as the Kids ability to immitate sounds and talk. Thier bones are stronger in this phase and they become more educated through teaching. They fully develop thier base colours and markings in this phase.

Age 13-17: Juvenile- This is commonly referred to as 'the growth' because for the entire 5 year span, the Young AoSaai grows a substantial amount into adulthood. Near the end of this period, they are almost fully developed and fertile.

Age 18-89: Adult- The AoSaai is fully developed and doesn't grow much in this phase other than a bit of muscle. They are fully mature and able to mate and produce offspring. Most also get jobs at this age.

Age 90+: Elder- Elder AoSaai are well respected and can sometimes grow to be nearly 150 years old if the individual is healthy. They will loose some colour in this age and thin out some, but remain quite active untill thier last few days of life.

Facial Classes:
-------

Male Facial class:
Class A- Most common and attractive to females. Class A AoSaai sport larger chins and high nose bridges.
Class B- Uncommon, but not rare. They have smaller chins and nose bridges and are believed to not be bred properly.

Female Facial class:
Class A- Most common and attractive to males. They are pure bred and sport nicely shaped faces.
Class B- Completely rare. Very few females have this face and it is not considered attractive. Class B females have very sloped faces.

Appearence:
-------
Horns:
Common- Common horn shapes include simple curves or swirls.
Un-common- Un-common horn shapes inclue straight horns, hoops, antlers, or 'ram' style horns.
Rare- Rare horns are un-naturally shaped horns like gears and blades.

Horns may have holes drilled into them, but it is permanent and looked down upon for being self-destructive.

Horns can be almost any colour besides a natural colour and always matches the colour of the AoSaai's claws. 9 out of 10 times, the horn and claw colour is white, black, or a neon colour.

Eyes:
Common- Commonly coloured eyes are shades of blue, green, and yellow.
Rare- Rare coloured eyes are pink, purple, red, and orange.
Blind- Blind AoSaai have white eyes with blue pupils.
Albino- Albino AoSaai have pink eyes with white pupils. Very sensative to light.

Eyes are a simple solidly coloured eyeball with a slit pupil. The pupils dialate in low light and constrict in bright light. The more un-common the eye colour, the more sensative the AoSaai's eyes are to light.

Mouths:
Teeth- AoSaai have a set of evenly measured teeth filling both the top and bottom jaw. They are sharp, but slightly rounded.
Gums and skin- The gums and skin inside an AoSaai's mouth is black. Always.
Tounge- The tounge is about 3 foot long and slightly rounded. It can be pierced. The tounge is the same colour as the inside of the AoSaai individual's ears.

Most AoSaai are able to open thier mouths at a 96 degree angle, though any further and thier lower jaw would snap off.

Necks:
The 'bulge'- The bulge feature on the front of the AoSaai's neck is actually the bottom of a pouch where the tounge is stored when not in full length. It is also attractive to have a large bulge.

AoSaai have fairly long necks, but it varies from individual to individual.

Ears:
Inside- The inside of an AoSaai's ear is the same colour as it's tounge and 8 out of 10 times, one of the marking colours on the body.

Ears have long flaps of skin connecting them to the AoSaai's neck for sound catching.

Thier ears can pivot and rotate very well, but do not inverse towards the other side.

Fur:
AoSaai have a distinct stiff fur that covers majority of thier bodies. The fur can be found in the following places:
Top of the head and down the back of the neck.
Small tufts on the inside of the ears.
On the shoulders.
Along the center of the chest and stomach.
On the backs of the fore-libs and hind legs.
Around the top and the bottom of the tail.

Fur colouring is always a set of two colours that fade into one another, though it can never be a colour to colour fade. Fur can fade from:
Black to a colour.
White to a colour
A Colour to black.
A colour to white.
White to black.
Black to white.

Sometimes the fur will have faint streaks or speckles of any colour or value, but very few have these fur patterns.

Fur can also be shaven off if desired, though an individual will be rejected by all in the species for doing so. Small spots on AoSaai fur have been shaven off for those individuals who follow ancient beliefs, as a display of sacrifice and loyaly. Most do not do this though.

Tail fur:
The fur on the bottom half of the tail is divided up into four quarters on the tail's length. These quarters determine where the fur will start and how uncommon it is.

1st quarter: Common.
2nd quarter: Common.
3rd quarter: Un-common/Rare. (Depends on where in the quarter, the further back, the more rare.)
4th quarter: Impossible naturally. (To achieve this, the tail would have to be shaved or permanently damaged.)

Tails:
AoSaai tails are very long and in the last quarter, prehensile. They are exactly the length of the AoSaai's body, or longer.

If the AoSaai looses a pice of the tail, it will not grow back. Instead, a small nub of flesh will grow in place of where the rest of the tail once was, and no fur will grow on or around it.

Legs:
Front limbs- They are much shorter than the back limbs and are usually thicker and more muscular than the back to hold up the AoSaai's large chest. They will often times walk 'tippy-toed' to level out thier bodies.

Back limbs- They are longer and thinner than the front legs, but just as powerful. They have a huge range of motion and are very fexeble. Also very good for running.

Feet and Claws:
AoSaai have a set of hands and feet with five digits each. Four fingers, and a 'thumb' like digit that is situated further up on the legs than the others. The thumb is opposeable and very good for grabbing.

Claws are very long on all AoSaai. Thier the same colours and bone material as the horns and are nearly impossible to break. If a claw does break, however, it will grow back, unlike the horns.

Bodies:
AoSaai have thick and rather compact bodies, despite thier natural appearence of looking thin. Majority of thier weight is centered in thier chests.

Base colours- Base colours may be any shade, or shades of white, black, or grey. It is very rare to find one with another colour, but even in those occurances, the base colour is always a natural colour such as tan, creme, or peach. only 1 out of every 160 AoSaai have a different base colour than white, black, or grey.

Marking colours- AoSaai have a wide variety of vividly coloured markings, making them vibrant and easy to spot. Thier marking colours can range anywhere from 2-6 different marking colours and can be almost any colour, as long as it stands out from the base colour.

Light AoSaai- Light AoSaai are rare and have a low pigment count in thier skin, so thier bodies are often times paler than normal, or lightly coloured. Thier markings are not very vibrant. They always have white base colours. They can not be pure white.

Dark AoSaai- Dark AoSaai are pretty much the same as Light AoSaai, just with darker and heavier markings on darker based skin. They can never be just pure black though. Markings always have some visibility on the skin.

Markings and patterns- AoSaai have a wide variety of different markings as well, from natural looking stripes and spots, to more technical and intricater rings and designs. Some colours will fade into the base, and some will be separated from it, giving a sharp appearence. No two AoSaai are alike and markings can cover thier entire bodies, or just be in a few areas.
-------

Bi-Pedal or Humanoid form:
-------
All AoSaai are born with the ability to shape-shift into a seconday form. It is a very human-like, bi-pedal form that the species uses to get around easier. It is quite a slow and painful process unless it is practiced often by the individual. It can take a few hours to shift into this form, or a few seconds, and be as painful as being crushed, to being absolutely painless.

-------
The AoSaai have a few general rules to the transformation:
---
Since genetailia show, clothes have to be worn.
Legs always remain in a plantigrade form.
Skin and markings will be the same colours and shapes in this form.
Females will have breasts.
All areas of fur stay in the same places.
The tail does not go away.
Claws, horns and ears also stay where they are.
Faces are very flat and have a set of nostrils instead of a nose.
-------

Civil Status:
-------
Civil status just tells you if an AoSaai is Wild, a Civilian of a town or city, or if the individual is in the military.

Wild:
As the label suggests, Wild AoSaai are strictly wild and have no paperwork counting them as a resident of the town or area where they live. They are often times those who refuse to live amongst human and will retain thier feral forms rather than wanting to shift into thier bi-pedal or humanoid forms.

Civil:
A Civil AoSaai, in short, is an AoSaai who resides in a populated area and has paperwork that states that they are able to have the civil AoSaai rights (The ability to reside in residential areas, have jobs, vote, wed humans and other AoSaai legaly, use hospitals, purchase things, and join the govornment and military).

Milita:
A Milita statused AoSaai is just a Civil AoSaai who works for the govornment or serves in thier country's military force, wether it being in the Air-force, the army, an FBI agent, etc. Milita AoSaai sometimes end up mate-less because if a country is to go to war, humans will send the AoSaai first.
-------

Sub-Species:
-------
Common:
Common AoSaai are the most abundant of the entire species and outweigh the other sub-species 55-1. They are found legitly everywhere and can live in any part of the world. Most are found in cities and populated areas, but alot do still live wildly in forests and plains.

Polar:
Polar AoSaai are very similar to common AoSaai but instead have a thicker and more abundant amount of fur on thier bodies. They dont nessacarily have to live in colder climates, but it helps that they don't normally visit hot or wet places. Thier fur covers the entire bottoms of thier legs, belly, head, and tail, as well as a ring around the base of thier neck. They aren't rare, but pretty uncommon.

Tail-Less:
This is a very uncommon sub-species of the AoSaai and are very difficult to find. They are almost exactly like the common AoSaai despite one small- and very strange fact. They have a thick, fluffy 'pom-pom' of fur on thier rear end instead of the long tail of a common AoSaai. This sub species will often times have smaller chests and thicker hind legs than the common AoSaai as well, since it doesn't have the balancing weight of a large tail.

Crested:
Perhaps the rarest and most beautiful of all the AoSaai sub-species found on Earth. They are similar to the common AoSaai, but as thier name suggests, they have extra crests of fur along thier bottom jaw, on thier sides, and along the backs of thier thighs. They are very beautiful and often times catch much attention from people and even other AoSaai.. should you ever run into one, majority of the times they will not be Civil.
-------

AoSaai abilities:
------
The AoSaai are sentient beings and are highly intelligent. They come in many shapes and styles, however they all retain certain special abilities that we humans find different and facinating.

Abilities:
All AoSaai are born with the ability to shift thier shapes from bi-pedal form into thier natural Quadropedal, or Dragon forms. (Though they aren't technicly dragons)

All AoSaai are also born with the ability to immitate sounds that they hear such as music, voices, planes, storms, chainsaws, ambulences, and birds. The sounds are limitless.

AoSaai are also able to speak Earth languages like Russian, German, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, and so on. They learn just as we do.
